Art Department
Indicator Art is responsible for the artwork in the yearbook! Members will draw and design dividers, backgrounds, and headers (don't worry if you don't know what these are, we'll explain!) which are published in the yearbook. We also design the Indicator pins and t-shirts every year! Throughout the year, we will have periodic meetings to discuss design ideas, but everyone mostly works from home. Join our department and help us make the yearbook aesthetic and colorful! We welcome both traditional and digital artists!

Business Department
The Indicator is our school's yearbook club and the Business Department is responsible for raising funds to alleviate the financial burden on students. The department holds bake sales during parent-teacher conferences and concerts, flower sales during the holidays, and spirit days intermittently throughout the year. As members of the business department, your responsibilities will range from baking to selling teddy bears to dethorning flowers. Joining the department is a great way to get involved in the school community and make new friends. We'd love for new people to apply for this medium-commitment club!!

Circulation Department
Circulation is a very low-commitment department focused on promoting senior spirit days and events through creative and eye-catching posters. Members of the Circulation Department will be responsible for designing the posters and also putting them up around the school.

Copy Department
As a member of Indicator Copy, you will be assigned a number of tasks throughout the year, such as distributing and inputting senior quotes, inputting baby pictures and personal information, and proofreading various parts of the yearbook. We are looking for people who are responsible, organized, respond to emails quickly, and can complete their assignments in a timely fashion. You should also be comfortable speaking to seniors during homeroom periods.

Layout Department
Layout is one of the most crucial parts of Indicator! Without us, there would literally be no yearbook. We use an online platform, HJE Design, to lay out different pages of the yearbook. There are a variety of sections, each replete with interesting design features. You can choose to lay out pages dedicated to your favorite extracurricular activities, your favorite department's teachers, or your favorite sports and dance teams.

Literary Department
Literary is responsible for writing the blurbs that appear in the yearbook, typically about the various academic departments, special Senior days, and school staff. This is a low commitment department, so don't worry if you don't have that much time outside of school. Blurbs are usually written at your convenience and take less than 30 minutes.
